Mission Statement: 2009. Berlin. Mandy. We are right in the middle. We know, that nothing is like it seems. Everywhere in the society we meet people of each social ranks who claim to be more than they really are. We look to it. We expose. We discover. Mandy discovers the world in her childish view and take a look beneath all styles, the straight lines, the studied transitions and the art. Mandy is no graffiti magazine in the classic way. Mandy is more. You could name it futuristic graffiti magazine, artist magazine, spraycan magazine, funky magazine – it shows artists and artist groups which took a step further from the classic graffiti without loosing sight of its´ roots. Maybe these people are just doing anything. But what they do is fresh, cool, loud and arty. Mandy “Hi it`s me and I`m the best” contains 56 glossy pages full of photographies from different, well-known artists from the streets of Berlin and the rest of Europe. Enclosed you receive a poster and a funny quiz. Because Mandy is also the best, she has been limited. There are just 500 handnumbered mags coated with a shiny cover. Yes, Mandy is really looking sexy. And she`s feeling sexy. And this girl has a fine appreciation for art. What do you want more from a magazine?
