Facts & Figures
Mission Statement: der:die:das: is a monothematic magazine made in Zurich, which examines items, objects and various “things“ from everyday life, trying to get to the bottom of their meaning and give them a new existence. Next to their meaning in everyday life the items will be put in an art- and design-format in order to reveal the bizzare and the established all at once. der:die:das: is an inspiration to animate common „things“ and showing them in other contexts in order to be taken by surprise. der:die:das: calls for the new in everyday life and the ordinary in the novel and assembles the various perceptions of different disciplines in art and design by various artists, designers and authors in one magazine. The „things“ will be selected, dissected and analysed according to the alphabet. der:die:das: will be sold in selected magazine- book- and design-stores. The first issue will started with the letter A for apple. The second issue was about B like Büroklammer (paperclip).
