GuteSeiten-Award 2010: The magazine of the year is Der Wedding, Berlin

“Magazine of the year”: GuteSeiten-Award
GuteSeiten-Award is the first international award for fanzines and short-run magazines. A jury of artists, editors, publishers, art directors and zine lovers is awarding the “Magazine of the year” for the best independent publication.

The jurors 2010 were Florian Waldvogel, Director, Kunstverein Hamburg, Heike Grebin, professor for typographie, department of design, Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg and partner of the agency Blotto Design, Karsten Henning, Art Director, ART - Das Kunstmagazin and Ale Dumbsky, founded the punk band Die Goldenen Zitronen and the label Buback, today he’s the director of the international independent film festival Radar in Hamburg – and the jury awarded as magazine of the year 2010:

* Der Wedding, Berlin

And a honorary mention went to:
* Schnitzel, Cologne
* Edit, Leipzig
* Jungsheft, Cologne
